Kalrez perfluoroelastomer parts are available in a number of different compounds that are formulated to optimized properties and give the best possible performance in various applications. Modification of the finished properties is achieved by use of fillers and other additives.

| 4079 | A low compression set compound for general-purpose use in O-rings, diaphragms, seals and other parts used in the process and aircraft industries. It is a carbon black filled compound with excellent chemical reistance, good mechanical properties and outstanding hot air aging properties. It exhibits low swell in organic and inorganic acids and aldehydes and has good response to temperature cycling effects. Not recommended for use in ho water/steam applications or in contact with hot aliphatic amines, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. |

| 1050LF | A general-purpose compound for O-Rings, seals and other parts used in chemical process industries. It has good hot water/steam, excellent amine resistance and compression set properties. Maximum recommended service temperature of 550°F. Not recommended for use in organic or inorganic acids at high temperatures. |

| 8201 Ultrapure Wet | Ultrapure we was developed specifically for wet chemical applications. It features lower elemental extractables than competing perfluoroelastomers as well as very low organic contamination. Ultrapure wet offers excellent resistance to Piranha, ultrapure deionized water (UPDI), and other aggressive chemicals used during lithography, etching, and water cleaning. It has good compression set characteristics. |

| 8101 Ultrapure Dry | Offers excellent compression set performance for dry chemical processes and plasma environments. This compounds contains non-reactive reinforcing filler for superior protection against seal degradation and particle generation. It's exceptional outgrassing characteristics make it well suited for high-temperature and vacuum applications. Ultrapure Dry excellent resistance to corrosive gases and thermal stability up to 572°F. |

| 2037 Ultrapure | A non-black filled compound for use in many plasma environments. This compound offers excellent chemical resistance, good mechanical properties, and thermal stability up to 428°F. |

| 1018 | A carbon black filled compound similar hardness to 1050, but with high temperature capability to 500°F. It has better hot water/steam resistance properties than all other compounds, except 3018. Not recommened for use in organic or inorganic acids at high temperatures or for rapid temperature cycling applications. |

| 1058 | A carbon black filled compound that has been plasicized with a perfluorinated oil. It is the softest, lowest modulus compound available. Generally it is similar in chemical resistance to 1050LF. Typically used in applications that require low sealing force or high extensibility, including liquid chromatography septa, seals or seats for relief valves and tubing. |

| 3018 | A carbon black filled compound similar to 1018 except for higher hardness/modulus. This compound offers the best hot water/steam resistance and the best high-pressure extrusion resistance. Generally used in oil field and process industry applications where these properties coupled with good amine and general chemical resistance is required. |

| 2035 | A carbon black filled compound that is well suited for selected applications in the finishings equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and chemical transportation markets. Compound 2035 has excellent chemical resistance exhibiting low swell in organic acids, inorganic acids, esters, ketones, an aldehydes. If also offers good mechanical properties. |
